Scone to Singleton – Day 4 of 2015

The weather gods were out again! Another perfect day! The riders were treated to a hot breakfast with thanks to The Colonial Inn Scone before an early departure down the highway to Singleton.

We relaxed stop at Muswellbrook McDonalds for morning tea and a little Radio time for Ross and Rosie we set off for the home stretch to Singleton. In the last 3 km we had our first accident in over 6 years! Two of our most experienced riders, Rob and Bill came down. Luckily it was only skin off. After a check from the hospital and the all clear they joined the crew again.

The rest of the riders were greeted to excited children at St Catherine’s College Singleton. With a guard of honour to welcome them and some very thought out questions from the children. St Catherine’s College raised over $1,000. Amazing effort and Thankyou!

The Ride for Sick Kids team enjoyed a lunch at Singleton Golf Club before spending the after and dinner at the Matilda Bay Brewery in the Hunter! What a beautiful location! One day left! We are nearly there for another year!
