Company / Business / Position: Martin-Brower Australia / Global Supply Chain and Distributor to McDonald’s ANZ / Planning Manager ANZ
Background in Cycling? I picked up cycling around 5 years ago after a mate of mine bought a bike. I was living in Perth and the cycling infrastructure was fantastic. I got more involved and now ride for fitness and pleasure and even race on the velodrome with some mates for a bit of competitive fun.
How did you get involved with Ride for Sick Kids? I first got involved with RFSK in Perth as a member of the organising committee for their inaugural ride, and assisting with the planning of the rides since. I continue to help the WA guys as much as I can remotely, mostly around the design of their new kits every year and anything else I can help with.
What keeps you coming back year after year? First and foremost, I am a strong supporter of RMH and the work that they do, and secondly, as a passionate cyclist, combining the two makes it a no brainer for me wanting to participate year after year.
Your Motto? No motto! We are all here to raise some much needed funds for RMH Newcastle, and if we can do some great riding at the same time then that is a plus!
